Who Are We?
We are researchers, practitioners and environmentalists working on creating collaborative and sustainable solutions to the myriad environmental and security threats that arise in a world increasingly challenged by the global climate crisis.
Based in the French Alps near Geneva, Alp Analytica is a small environmental policy and development consulting company, headed by Oli Brown, who brings 18 years of experience in environment and development programme management, strategic planning, research, training and communication.
From assessing the environmental impacts of COVID-19 in Iraq, organizing a collaborative paper on the future of environmental peacebuilding, coalition-building for an emerging government alliance of countries that commit to stop oil and gas production, and supporting the G20’s work on nature-based solutions in cities, Alp Analytica tackles an exciting range of environmental policy and research projects with a wide number of organizations—UNEP, UNDP, Chatham House, the European Institute of Peace, adelphi research, the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, and the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, among others.
A Organizational Model for the Post-Covid World
We are a small team from around the world who have joined forces in the French Alps, working collaboratively and designing solutions for the world’s thorniest issues—conflict and fragility, climate change and ecological collapse. Highly flexible, we collaborate with a variety of organizations from across the globe and never shy away from a challenge.
